Module Replacement
Complete Module Replacement — From Diagnosis to Programming & CalibrationModern vehicles rely on cameras, radar sensors, and other electronic modules to operate critical Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). When one of these components fails or is damaged, proper replacement, programming, initialization, and calibration may be required to restore system operation.
We replace accessible ADAS cameras, radar units, and sensors when the service does not require removing bumpers, body panels, or other major vehicle components. These modules support features such as adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane assistance, blind-spot monitoring, and collision avoidance.
Using OEM-compatible diagnostic and programming equipment, we install and configure eligible replacement modules according to manufacturer requirements. We then perform any required calibration and diagnostic testing to verify communication, address warning lights, and help restore proper ADAS functionality.
What are Modules?
An automotive control module is an onboard computer that manages specific vehicle systems such as engine performance, transmission shifting, braking, airbags, and advanced driver assistance features. Modern vehicles rely on multiple interconnected modules to process sensor data and ensure systems communicate and function correctly. When a module is replaced or updated, professional module programming is required to restore manufacturer specifications, prevent warning lights, and ensure safe, reliable vehicle operation.
Replacement Steps
A full system scan is performed to identify fault codes, communication issues, and the modules that require replacing and programming.
The vehicle is stabilized with a battery maintainer and verified for proper voltage to prevent data corruption during replacement and post replacement programming.
The correct control module is identified and replaced.
OEM software is used to install, update, or reflash the module with the correct firmware and vehicle-specific data.
Vehicle options, features, and calibrations are coded so the module communicates properly with other systems.
Related systems—such as ADAS cameras, steering angle sensors, or throttle bodies—are calibrated as required.
A final scan and functional check confirm proper operation, cleared fault codes, and restored vehicle performance.
Automotive Modules We Replace
A failed vehicle module can cause warning lights, disabled safety features, communication faults, or functions that stop working after a repair. ADAS Calibration Services diagnoses the issue, replaces the module when needed, and performs the programming, setup, and calibration required for the vehicle.
Forward-facing camera modules: We replace windshield-mounted cameras used for lane keeping, collision warning, and other driver assistance features. Honda and Acura forward-facing camera replacement is a common example, particularly when camera faults remain after a windshield replacement or collision repair. The replacement camera may require vehicle-specific setup and aiming.
Front radar modules: Front radar supports features such as adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking. We diagnose and replace radar units affected by damage, internal faults, or communication problems, then perform the required programming and calibration. These systems are found across many Honda, Acura, Toyota, Ford, GM, Volkswagen, and other vehicles.
Blind spot radar modules: Rear corner radar units help detect vehicles alongside and approaching from behind. After a rear collision or module failure, we can replace the affected unit and complete the setup and calibration specified for that vehicle.
Parking and surround-view camera modules: We replace cameras and related control modules used for parking assistance and multi-view displays. Depending on the vehicle, replacement may require programming or camera calibration to restore the correct image and guidelines.
Body control and lighting modules: Faulty modules can cause inoperative lights, power accessories, or other electrical features. We diagnose the fault, replace the appropriate module, and configure it to the vehicle when required.
Other vehicle control modules: We also handle module replacement for supported steering, braking, and other electronic systems. The exact repair depends on the vehicle, fault codes, and manufacturer procedures.
